Community Book Study with Nineveh

Starting Sept 10, Nineveh will continue its series entitled "Called to Truth: Facing Racism," with a weekly book study of Jemar Tisby's “How to Fight Racism: Courageous Christianity and the Journey Toward Racial Justice.” This work is a compelling and practical guide for people of faith who want to move beyond awareness and into action.

Grounded in a Christian vision of justice and reconciliation, this study invites participants to confront the reality of racism with honesty, courage, and hope. Together, we’ll explore concrete steps for building beloved community as we live into our baptismal call to resist evil, injustice, and oppression in whatever forms they present themselves. Discussions will be led by Nineveh's RIC team members.

All are welcome—come ready to learn, reflect, and act.

We will meet via Zoom on Wednesdays at 7 PM and will cover one chapter per week. There are copies of the book and an accompanying study guide available now and for FREE at Nineveh for any who would like one.

Anyone is welcome to join this class. No registration is required.

Nineveh is a mission of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
