Church Musician - Part Time

Grace Episcopal Church in Radford is seeking a part-time musician to

select and lead hymns in a single traditional liturgical service each week

(with some additional holy days throughout the year). It is preferred that the

musician be able to play the organ, but a piano is also available. All

instruments are kept in excellent condition.

Each service will contain both instrumental selections and hymns sung by

the congregation. The musician may also select simple hymns for the choir

to perform as anthems.

A brief practice and the service will generally take 2 to 3 Hours on Sunday

mornings. Opportunities for additional practices are available. The church

has space available for lessons that can be made available to the musician,

if desired. Compensation is competitive and negotiable based on

agreement.
